Barbara Mays was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. A child of the 50’s and 60’s, a flame ignited in her that would later guide her onto her path to be a visible stand celebrating diversity and to use her voice to help bring awareness to current issues of tolerance and respectful coexistence. Barbara lives in Phoenix, Arizona and is mother to 3 sons and 3 daughters and grandmother to 13 grandchildren. She is a reflexololgist and toe reader, shaman practitioner, public speaker and author of Seasons of Loss: Through and Beyond.
